My Brave Soldier!!!!

He's brave and loyal,
His honor runs deep,And our country's freedom,
He fights to keep.
He goes through the motions,
Each day, do or die,
Performing his duties,
Not questioning why.
So much love for his men,
Like brothers they've become,
One big family,
An Army of One.
Each day being all he can be,
Whether he be on land, or out in the sea.
Each night he drops to his knees and prays,
Lord help us to make it another day.
Angels fly close, guiding his feet,
Giving him strength with every retreat.
Out in the rain, in the cold of the night,
He treads on and fights for what he believes right.
Securing our freedom, keeping our country safe,
Only asking of one thing, and that's simpy faith.
Fears set aside, faith in the Lord,
His life in his hands, others livess on his sword.
My brave little soldier in his army greens,
I pray that he'll come back safely to me.
But until then our prayers will have to do,
He's out there fighting for me and you.
So loyal and true and brave to the core,
He's out there fighting to win this war.
Our fathers, our husbands, our brothers and sons,
Make up this much honored Army of One.
Old Glory's freedom depends on them all,
United they stand, divided they'll fall.
Pray for our troops, Have faith, and have love,
And God will do the rest from his home up above.

Rules From God!!!!!

1. Wake Up !! Decide to have a good day. "Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" Psalms 118:24

2. Dress Up !! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart." I Samuel 16:7

3. Shut Up!! Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3

4. Stand Up!!... For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look Up !!... To the Lord. "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me." Phil ippians 4:13

6. Reach Up !!... For something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-6

7. Lift Up !!... Your Prayers. "Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING." Philippians 4:6

Friends!!!!

Friends Friendship is a miracle
It starts within the heart
Don't know how it happens
Just a miracle of sorts.

Friends touch our lives
In the most endearing ways.
Opening up our hearts
We invite them in to stay.
Nestled inside creating warmth
The heart then bursts with love
Expounding in compassion
Filling each day with joy.
Friends enriching our lives
Offering words of encouragement.
Giving us the edge we need
To face each and every day.
Give meaning to our existence
Never judging nor condemning.
A shoulder at times to cry on
Or life's little pleasures sharing .
Friends are a ray of sunshine
Warming the heart deep inside.
Glowing like the morn's rainbow
After a long and stormy night.
Friends are a special find
As rare and precious jewels
Bringing sparkle into our lives
A beloved gift from God.
Treasure the friends you make
As caring enrich our lives
Love expressed from the heart
Gives us courage to face each day.
